Totally compelling, this book kept me up at night until I was through it all. It’s hard to laugh at another person’s pain, yet Irby invites us to do just that. Her writing is razor sharp, direct and packs an emotional punch, and did I mention HILARIOUS!

Battling depression and anxiety, Irby takes the reader on a roller-coaster ride through her personal life and she comes out victorious on the other side. I loved this collection of essays. One of the most unflinchingly honest books I’ve read in years.
